Decadent_Otter's Cali Cat Database for filament ratings. My current plan is to compile a full rating here here with 1 to 2 pictures of the filament and printed cat and a link to @Cali_CATalog on Twitter. Thing number on Thingiverse: 1545913 I always print my model at 150% scale. I always appreciate the help. If anyone has their own cats they want to print and contribute to the page go ahead and add them. I'm always on Discord if you want me to add it or have any questions or suggestion. Please feel free to reach out. I don't bite... much.

Mad Maker PLA+ Coal Black
  • Default Prusaslicer PLA Profile used
  • Nozzle Temp: 215 °C
  • Bed Temp: 70 °C
  • infill: 10%
  • Cooling Fan On Speed: 100%
The Mad Maker PLA+ seems to be some pretty good quality filament for a good price. It printed a lot like standard PLA.

The only thing I would recommend a bed temp of at 70 C, I got some warping around the feet when I printed at the standard 60 C.

The only thing I would recommend a bed temp of at 70 C, I got some warping around the feet when I printed at the standard 60 C. This filament is slightly transparent and looks amazing.

Richoose PLA Rainbow
  • Default Prusaslicer PLA Profile used
  • Nozzle Temp: 220 °C
  • Bed Temp: 60 °C
  • infill: 60%
  • Cooling Fan On Speed: 100%
This filament looks really cool, but it takes a lot of work to get it print.

It jammed several times trying to print and if the nozzle dropped below 215 at any point it would jam. I had to print a 3 by 3 grid to get it to fully transition.

  • I modified an ABS profile for this one.
  • Nozzle Temp: 230 °C
  • Bed Temp: 95 °C
  • infill: 10%
  • Cooling Fan On Speed: 0%
This was a weird filament. It was very brittle and difficult to print.

I accidentally broke the head off and glued it back on.
